The Luminescence
Project presents Ensnaring
Hate, a semi-staged production of William Grant Still's
controversial choral ballad And They Lynched Him On A Tree.
The production fuses choral music, lighting,
staging and multi-media elements while examining
race relations in the early 20th century and today. The
production
is in recognition of the 40th anniversary of the
death of Martin Luther King.
